Has anyone here worked previously but due to your current illness you applied for SSI benefits?

I was wondering the same thing too. I was told by multiple sources that it would take up 6 months to be approved for SSI benefits, less for temporary state benefits. I can't work because of my anxiety and desperately need the extra income. I worked in customer service for 6 years and now i can't even manage going back.

This is currently my 2nd time on disability due to panic attacks.. What exactly would you like to know?
