    I've never tried Paxil before. But, from what I have heard, it's greatest downfall is its addictive potential. Paxil is said to be the most addictive of the SSRI/SNRI antidepressants (Effexor is widely regarded as the second most addictive, and Prozac is considered to be the least addictive).
