The Ostracization of Ponder and Peter Ross Anderson

I vote for these two to be banished off this board right now.

Do you know I studied cinema at university Pedro? My degree is in business but I did a few Arts subjects as electives in final year. I got into Arts/Marketing and dropped the Arts. Wish I'd dropped business. Anyway, I got a Distinction and a High Distinction in Cinema Studies.

But the real movie buff is my mother. She did Arts at Melbourne Uni in the 1960s. She's been taking me to films from about five years old. I'm no Quentin Tarantino but I know a bit about cinema.

I just had a look at your acting career online. This is probably my favourite page:

"Growing up, Peter was fascinated by the explosive, fast paced action seen in popular blockbusters. In later years, he developed an interest in the burgeoning horror genre, and has since collected many hard to find DVDs and video games focusing on all things scary."

So basically you liked the Die Hard movies, then a bit of horror (the genre was hardly burgeoning at that stage), then you started playing video games.

You're not going to be the next Al Pacino sorry. "Actor, director, producer" lol. Heard of Ingmar Bergman? Stanley Kubrick? Francis Ford Coppola? Martin Scorsese?

You probably have a bit of acting talent though and a bit of an imagination.. 36yo is when it starts to get kind of depressing right? When you realise you're not going to be a movie star or a rock god or anything much really..

Anyway, I think it's pretty plausible you made this whole thing up. Craving attention.. Video game dissociation from reality..

Watch this. It's my favourite scene from one of my all-time favourite flicks:

    Well you are.

That's Jack Nicholson by the way. He won an Academy Award for that role. I wrote about the film in my final exam and got an A+.
