Anxiety attack just a moment ago.

Hi, I'm Kat and I have just joined the forum.

I have been suffering from Anxiety for 27 years.

Today has prompted me to join as I suffer from IBS and it sometimes causes the most horrible anxiety attacks. I have had an attack in the last hour coupled with feelings of suicide.

I feel better now, but the attack 'after shock' is still there.

It's good to be able to use a forum such as this one, there was nothing 27 years ago and I still feel like the anxiety is my own fault and I am weak.

Hi Cat, I do suffer with anxiety whole my life and I am old woman. Do you have anything in home to take to speed up recovery. Panic attacks are terrible and it happens to me often. However not as often as 5 years ago. Maybe it is age that I am calming down. Nothing to do anymore , nowhere to go, now I can relax. Have you tried meditation ? Maybe guided one?
