    For Sports Fans in Particular

DeMac DeRozan (Toronto Raptors) an American professional basketball player has come forward and is talking opening about dealing with depression. That prompted Kevin Love, another professional basketball player, with the Cleveland Caveliers, to talk openly about his battles with panic attacks, in hopes of helping others.

I'm glad that these athletes feel comfortable about talk openly about their mental health issues. I think it will help other athletes as well as the everyday person who is dealing with mental illness to feel more at ease about talking to others about their mental illness. To me, this shows that the stigma against mental illness isn't as bad as it was back in the old days.
