    Can anxiety cause extreme hallucinations?

    Hey, firstly anxiety can't cause hallucinations.
    Maybe there is some imagination between them, but they are two different things.
    About the cockroaches, did you show them the smashing guts? or you just asked generally them if they had seen the cockroaches?
    Because there is a chance that you had eliminated them before you asked them.
    If it's so bothering you, you can always talk with a therapist

    No.. Anxiety wouldn’t cause that. Not even panic.

    But can imagining something trigger an anxiety attack?
