I'm glad to have found your forum!

I've had severe anxiety for 15 years. This mornings panic attack is finally passing so I'm able to type. I wake up soaked in sweat and shaking so hard I can't hold my phone. I throw up and get diarrhea. This can last from 15 minutes to 4 hours. My blood pressure goes into the 200s, which is bad.

I have no support or friends. I'm full-time caregiver for my mom. She's 83, on oxygen and cant walk. Caregivers of shut-ins become shut-ins themselves.

The calming techniques I've read about don't work. I hope to learn things here that will help. Thanks for being here!

Is there any way you can get a break so you can do some things for yourself? Maybe a neighbor could watch your mom. You probably need a break from the caregiving and try more of taking care of yourself.
