classic rock & 80s is great too Kirk
late 60s, 70s & 80s with only a few 90s - other than that - I'm with Dahila in NOT locking myself into any one genre/culture. Other than the era I grew up in - I love many classical tunes and new age ambiance without the Techno/Dance which is about the only thing I pass off into the trash + I'll also dump on varioius forms of thrash and head banging music. Not into lyrics at all - Very rare occasion. Music for me is much better without the Story. Stories I much prefer in books.

I actually got to say that I too have been using a few old tunes of late to keep motivated and it's helping to some degree. Might throw a few tunes on now actually.
