Seeing Donna Summer in person must have been a real treat.
It was! I think it was around 1997 or 98 (can't quite recall) and it was not even planned. I was at a casino and there she was by pure chance and I'm so happy I got to see her before she passed.

I used to volunteer at a little radio station that often played jazz music.
