Sorry for all the posts but- I feel like my stress is being 'ABSORBED', reassurance?

What I mean is I feel like my body is exhausted from feeling stress, yet I'm still worrying and it feels like the new stress is being 'absorbed' by my body and is piling up. Is it in any way possible that all this stress alone could somehow just knock me out and kill me? I need some relief....

You could try some deep breathing. If you read about the parasympathetic nervous system you'll find one way to tell it to "kick in" is to control your breathing. It kind of rebalances the whole nervous system.

    Edit: Here's an explanation: http://stresscourse.tripod.com/id20.html

    You'll be okay

Thanks gypsy for all the support and answers, I'll have a look at deep breathing and try it, I've heard mindfulness and meditation is also helpful

No worries. I'm going to do some breathing now in fact because I'm a bit stressed myself. I try to do some meditation while I'm at it
