    Hello Everyone

I am married to a man who suffers with agoraphobia and is disabled because of it. I am here to learn more understanding and receive helpful tips on keeping my marriage together and raising children when one parent has this disorder.

Welcome to the anxiety forum, Paula. Has your husband been officially diagnosed with agoraphobia yet? If not, then that is the first step. Also, is your husband taking any medication to help alleviate some of the panic that comes with agoraphobia. I would learn as much as possible about this debilitating disorder, because doesn't seem to tons of information out there about it.

Also, has your husband tried Cognitive Behavior Therapy as a treatment option. This form of behavior therapy with medication seems to be very effective.
