    Benzos and Heart Rate

When I take one and I'm lying down afterwards, it seems my heart is pounding harder than normal even though I am feeling more relaxed. This doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone else experience this and/or what is the explanation?

I might be able to explain this. Since we suffer from anxiety, we notice our body much more than most. And when you lay down, you heart beat is more prounouced because you are laying still. You are not typing on a computer, itching your leg, ect. You are concentrating more on your heart.

See, when I run, I don't notice my heart beat even though I know it is beating harder and faster at that moment. But when I lay down, I notice my heart beat more. This is because there are so many other things going on with your body when you are moving or doing something else.

Hope this helps. And a strong heart beat is good. Means you have a strong heart.
