Hi Shoe & Ghost Thanks for the kind words...

Ebay is a great way to earn a living from home and I'm going to write a post about how to do it for you all now... so look for it in a little while. 8)

    SELLING ON EBAY 101

Ok, first I think you all know that you will need an Ebay account and a Paypal account set up first. Paypal is the best online payment method and you can transfer $$$ to your checking account electronically or get a Visa debit card after a while to get cash from an ATM instantly or pay for things at the store. I only accept Paypal payments... no checks or money orders. This way, I don't have to get stuck in line at the bank making a deposit, lol.

The next thing you'll need is a good digital carmera with some rechargeable batteries. If your camera takes AA batteries, any store sells Everready or other brands of AA rechargeable batteries with a charger. Get yourself 2 sets of batteries.

Where do you buy stuff? Well, there's literally thousands of websites, but one that I use a lot is Liquidation.com. It's a bid process but you can get good deals on just about anything from clothing to electronics to small appliances, shoes, etc. Also try magickidsusa.com. They sell good clothes in multiples so your picture taking job is reduced. Anything you can find in multiples is less work all around.

Do a google search for liquidation apparel, wholesale lots, pallet lots, liquidation soft goods (towels, blankets, sheets, etc), going out of business sale, clearance merchandise, etc. Get creative with your search words.

    A FEW DON'TS:

**DONT buy from BROKERS whenever possible. Try to buy direct from someone who actually has the goods in their possession. Watch out for brokers because they are only making money off you and they are never actually handling the goods themselves. Of course someone is making money in the process, but it doesn't have to be 2 or 3 people before you get your hands on it.

** DONT sign up for ANY SITE that claims to give you lists and lists of the best wholesalers. You can search and find them yourself just as easliy. I fell for that worm a few times and I lost about $75 on crap info so just try to learn from my mistake here

** DONT sell jewelry if possible. Ebay is saturated with it and you won't make money unless you've got rolexes and diamonds.

** DONT fall for the fake or cloned lots like Coach, Prada & Louis Vuitton purses for $29.00. No matter how good they seem, it's always a problem. Not only will you have a lot of negative feedback on your record (ebays customer rating process) but ebay will start pulling your listings and your work will all be in vain.

** DONT say anything in your ebay listing about your product that isn't 100% true. Honesty = smooth sailing.

** DONT offer to ship internationally unless you're ok with going to the post office a few times a week. UPS or Fedex WILL pick it up at your house but the shipping is expensive and customers usually wont want to pay it anyway. The US post office will not pick up international shipments at your house.

Set up your shipping method. Do you prefer UPS, Fedex or the Post Office? Set up an account with whomever you want and check out their shipping prices by playing around. Then set up regular pick ups at your house through their websites. I ship on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. I find USPS (the post office) to be the least expensive and ebay customers look for low shipping. I know that I look for low shipping when I'm buying something, don't you? Also, you can print shipping labels right through Paypal if you use USPS or UPS shipping. You can order the free shipping labels through UPS.com --> order supplies.

Shipping supplies: If you use UPS or USPS you can order free shipping supplies from their websites BUT it's usually only for Priority Mail or 2nd Day Air packages (more expensive shipping). So I use Uline.com to order self seal poly bags (24 cents each) and other shipping supplies for parcel post and ground packages. It saves me money in the long run.

Order some office supplies anywhere... paper, calculator, stapler, ink cartridges, good packing tape, bubbles if you sell something fragile, etc.

OKAY THEN... When you find a wholesale or liquidation lot that you're interested in, go to Ebay and look at how many of that type of item are already listed. If there's more than 40 or 50 of that item then move on. Try to find something that's not saturated. New items sell best, NWT NIP NIB ( new with tags, new in package or new in box). Then look at the "completed listings" by checking the box on the left hand bar of your screen and search again. Is the price right? Can you make a nice profit on that item? I sell clothes, so I try to make $7 to $12 PER ITEM. Think about it... if you can make $7 on an item and you buy 100 of them, well, you just made roughly $700 bucks! Consider also the ebay listing fees and the paypal fees which are noted on their sites under "fees" or "seller fees".

Ok... to be continued... if you have any questions on that part... just ask!

I hope you do try it someday, Dan! It's a great money maker for a lot of people, not just agoraphobiacs & SPD's. If anyone is thinking of doing Ebay it would be good to get things together now and then actually start selling stuff come February. I imagine that January will be slow after Christmas.

please answer me.Never think to give up.You're enough lucky to have an understanding wife.I tell you my situation.I think actually I've never been able to go out without fearing something. Now I'm 19 and I should be working. You know when you're young all you wanna do is being independent;well that's what I want but I CAN'T!AND I'M SO PISSED!!!You can't imagine. When I think about my future I can't avoid to think I'll be alone and incapable to take care of myself and those thoughts drive me crazy.YOU don't gotta give up,you gotta fight and try to calm down when you fear, because once you knew how life was.I can feel that only sometimes.Sorry I don't wanna make you feel in blame.
Anyway, panic attacks? You suddenly feel like you gotta fear something? That's what I got.
The better I wanna be,the worst I become.
