Celexa&Buspar

I have been taking Celexa and Buspar for a month now, but today I saw my doctor and he told me I have to take these meds for at least six months plus three months of me coming off them gradually. Thats 9 months all together.

Is that a normal length of time!?

By the way my anxiety started over two months ago and the pills have improved my anxiety overall, thank God.

Can be. If the plan is to get your anxiety under control, get counseling, education, then taper off after a particular crisis........yes. Then see how you do. It is possible this anxious time for you will pass and the meds will help you through. Time will tell. It's hard to predict this type of thing. Alankay
