I'm currently taking Paxil 20mg with Xanax as needed.
Does anyone take Xanax daily by its self?
I'm only taking .5 mg until the paxil kicks back.

I took Xanax daily for a while years ago. 2.5mg split up across the day. My anxiety didn't get better until I went on Paxil coincidentally. Xanax is good for calming you down when you have a panic attack but for GAD it's not that useful IMO.
Agreed. Great for high anxiety/panic but for a more generalized anxiety valium/klonopin/clorazepate might be better but xanax should kill that anxiety pretty well. Alankay
