hello, all. i am new here, and found this forum by googling "anxiety forum". i was originally going to post in a hypochondria forum, but it's been inactive for a while now, so i hope you don't mind if i post my story here (p.s. idk if i even have hypochondria/anxiety [haven't been to the dr in awhile], i'm just assuming that it's a possibility bc i always think i have a serious disease even if i just have a mild symptom; i end up crying/having my heart rate increase/feeling really anxious, etc.)
for starters, i'm a 16-year-old female. i think i'll just number things based on what i think i have
1: uti - i was masturbating about two weeks ago. i was sliding one of my fingers along my butt crack, and i was going to put another finger in my vagina, but i accidentally dipped the finger i used to touch my butt crack, in my vagina. it was only slightly bc i immediately pulled it out once i realized what finger i was using. after i pulled it out, my vagina felt weird/uncomfortable after. everything's fine until a week later i'm masturbating and i have that same feeling afterward, except i didn't do anything wrong this time. few days after that, i'm peeing and i feel this slight burn when i'm peeing. everything's fine when i'm done, and i haven't had any uti symptoms since
2: something wrong with my kidneys - two years ago, i had to have a kidney ultrasound bc my blood pressure was slightly higher than avg for my age. they found a tiny spot on one my kidneys, but the dr said it was nothing to worry about. when i really have to pee, i go easily, no problem, but if i'm sitting on the toilet for a while, and i feel there's a small amount of pee that still needs to come out, it takes about a minute for it to start coming out; i have to really relax for it to come out. and just while typing this, i have noticed a slight pressure/pain on the left side of my lower back. the pressure/pain's there for literally one second, goes away, and then comes back a minute (or two) later
3: acid reflux disease - back in september 2011, for almost two weeks i had been waking up feeling nauseous in the morning. 95% of the time i ended up feeling both nauseous and throwing up stomach acid, 5% i was just nauseous. all the nausea and vomiting went away within 20 minutes if i sipped on some water and slowly ate some saltine crackers, though. then i could go on merrily with my day. when i was googling about my morning nausea/vomiting, i found out if you sleep on your left side, all that will go away. and it indeed worked, but ever since i started sleeping on my left side, i've waken up in the middle of the night always having to poop. i can feel this weird uncomfortable feeling in my stomach that makes it seem like i've held it in for too long. that feeling immediately goes away once i sit down on the toilet, though. most of time i have to sit on the toilet for 30 minutes before anything comes out, and when i think i'm done, and i go lay on my left side to sleep, the urge to poop comes back. a normal urge, this time. also, i love singing a lot, but i always sing improperly bc i've never had a voice lesson in my life. i always tend to gravitate towards male broadway songs. yesterday near the end of the day, i had already sung a normal amount. i was talking, and then my voice randomly cracked. so, i tried singing a little, and i was good for a bit, but then my voice randomly cracked. the voice cracking only happened three times, but my throat had a very slight ache (NOT in a sore throat kinda way) afterwards and felt "empty". today i have had no voice cracking or ache in the throat, but my throat still feels "empty". i also should add that i'm not overweight, but our family eats very unhealthy (i'm starting a diet soon, though)
if anyone could suggest whether or not i should go to the dr, that'd be great, bc i'm really worried. TIA.
