My doctor just put me on effexor. Currently having headaches on my second day, not very fun.
has anyone else had success with this medication? or had this side affect?
Hi there. I just posted about Effexor a couple weeks ago. My dr put me on it and I didn't like the way that it made me feel. On one hand it seemed to have immediate effects on my anxiety. My irrational thoughts and worries were gone even the first day I took it. The downside was that I felt wired, jittery, and hypersensitive. It reminded me a bit of how I used to feel when took aderall for ADD as a child. Very much felt like a stimulant. I'm back lexapro now bc I know that it works for me. I should have never gone off it. Everyone is different so sometimes it takes tryin acouple medications to find what works for you. Good luck and blessings to you

yes i felt the same way... i really didnt like the way it made me feel. im not taking. i have to see my doc in a week so i will talk to her about it.. try something else. thank you for the reply!
