Weather causes my anxiety to go all bonkers. Thunderstorms, tornados, fear of storms etc. any tip to help me deal with this?

It might be connected to an experience with weather in you distant past. So hypothetically if you lived in an area with not much in the way of weather or if there have been periods of calm where you live, you have no anxiety to speak of? In that case I'd pursue psychotherapy to see what connected the two and work on it from there. Alankay

The next time you feel anxious during bad weather, view it as an opportunity to learn how to overcome your fears during thunder and lightning storms.

At Mainer Mike Brown, to be honest it's all been getting better. The other day I just sat and watched it pass. It wasn't as bad as I thought and I actually caught myself thinking, "This is actually nice.." hehe. Thanks so much!!
