Yes I have had this feeling but I googled depersonalization and you will see there are a lot of people who have this same thing it's supposed to eventually go away I haven't really had it for a while but I suffered from it for weeks and I am still causous about it because I'm scared it will come back which of course makes me anxious
I also have that same feeling of life being not real. It's a crazy feeling but your not alone, I've read that that's a symptom of anxiety disorder.Originally Posted by aquamarinearies
I have the same exact feeling.... You can talk to me about it because I can't find anyone who relates with me really.. It's scary![]()
I also have the same feeling , not always had it , but it comes & goes .
Terrible feeling , like your not really here , in a dream . Hate this one :-(
Thank you... What helped?Originally Posted by EMZ
Just ride it out is all I can say, you are real no matter what your brains trying to trick you into beleveing. I suffer from the nothing is real feeling often, seems to be much related to my anxiety. When I have anxiety/panic attacks I think the worst is going to happen or is happening and what could be worse than you not being real. Just gotta learn to overcome the feeling.
I've been told to accept and face it and treat it as a friend not an enemy.. I'm just scared I'll. Be like this forever...Originally Posted by snavis816

It is just depersonalization. I have had it before, and still get it occasionally. It always passes, and you are not going crazy. Anxiety does a pretty funny dance with the chemicals in your brain. Look into mindfulness anxiety treatments. It is really starting to help me. Instead of running from the feelings it teaches you to notice the feelings, and learn to be okay with how you feel. It feels good to know that there are thousands of us out there that have the same feelings doesn't it. You are not alone![]()
