Is anyone else on Mirtazapine (Remeron)?

What has been your experience with this?

I began at 15mg but had to increase it because the 15mg did nothing for me. Currently I'm taking one 30mg tablet per night. I also take a Valium if I feel like I really need it. The Mirtazapine is the first type of medication I have ever been on for anxiety. It has been a life-saver for me. It works so well! My anxiety during the day has practically vanished.

I will admit, however, that the first two weeks of taking this were tough. I often felt extremely tired and groggy, and it felt like I was in a constant daze/trance. Like I wasn't completely 'with it'. I also found it very hard to get out of bed. It was almost impossible some mornings. But now that those first few weeks have passed, the medication is working really well.

I am interested in hearing your thoughts.

Mirtazapine made me eat a lot. I didn't like this.

Worked pretty well for me in the past. :)
