Citalopram - Change Time of Dose Question?
Hi, I'm new here. :)
I should preface this by saying I've never been treated for anxiety or put on any sort of anxiety medication until yesterday.
So this thing is all very new.
My doctor prescribed Citalopram and told to take it in the evening.
Took me a while to fall asleep then woke up this morning completely wired at 4 am.
My body is still exhausted but I can't fall asleep.
Couldn't call my doctor today until mid-morning due to work and she told me to take it in the morning instead.
Which brings me to my question, which of course I thought of now and not earlier. (Of course) :l
Does that mean I skip the dose and wait till tomorrow morning (Saturday?)
I know I'm not supposed to "double-up" on things and don't want to risk taking 2 doses in less than 24 hours.
Any insight or advice would be helpful.
