I recently graduated with my BS in Mathematics with a minor in Coaching. I ran cross country and track in both high school and college and have a huge love for the running community. I'm a devout Catholic and love participating in young adult groups and working in youth ministry.
I've had generalized anxiety disorder since I can remember, and it's most definitely genetic. Anxiety has helped me reach out to kids who are going through situations similar to what I've gone through. I would never wish I had never suffered from it, because I'm able to positively impact so many people that others can't relate to. But there is a fine line, and it's a constant battle to gain control of my anxiety, especially when it's paralyzing.
But hey, ya can't win a battle if you don't fight it out.
