Hey, I'm Dave. I am a 24 year old Pittsburgh native, currently living in West Virginia. I moved here for work in October of 2010 and didn't know anyone in the area. I am the youngest person in my office by about 10-12 years. Needless to say, they aren't prime options for people to hang out with, being family men. I've had anxiety my whole life, but it's gotten much worse ever since I moved here. I find that my biggest weakness is loneliness and lack of motivation to fix that problem, due to fear of rejection or making a good first impression in a new area. The frustrating part is that i can see myself from an outside perspective, can identify my problems and why they exist, but just can't seem to fix them. I'm hoping that by talking to people on AnxietyForum that have similar issues I can be helped and be happy again.
