Fears...

I have a terrible fear of something happening to my children. If they're at school and the phone rings, I always imagine something bad has happened. If they aren't home and I hear an ambulance, I really freak out. I hardly let them out of my sight for this reason. If I'm out and see a firetruck, I worry until I get home that it was my house. I also always ignore any phone calls from my aunt, afraid she will tell me something happened to my grandmother. Sometimes I wont listen to her voicemails for days.....

I worry about my kid too, in fact his birth was the beginning of my troubles with anxiety. I try not to do the imagine the worst thing, but if he gets a cold or falls and hurts himself it can trigger an anxiety attack. I often think about my house burning down or being robbed while I am out and this can make me anxious. Just gotta try and think positive about somthing else or challenge those thoughts we know arent realistic.
