Scared of being by myself

Is this common? I always want to be with a "safe person" otherwise I panic. This has become pretty sever over the last month. I also panic when I try to call someone and they don't answer. Does anyone else experience this? Also, how do you cope with this? I really need some advice because my "safe people" cannot be with me all the time.

You are not alone.I had that same feeling about a week ago when I was at a friends house. I had went inside to get something to eat and came back out and my boyfriend was not there. I called and called totally panicking because he was not answering. There was so many thoughts going through my head. Same goes for actually when I call anyone but especially 'certain people' such as my mom, grandparents,boyfriend.I have not learned a way to cope with it yet and hoping to see if anyone else has some answers.
