New guy here. Just came here originally to lurk and read but I figured what the heck. I've been diagnosed for about 2 months but I've had the symptoms over a year. What prompted me was having a second panic attack and going to the emergency room, was put on a heart monitor and an ekg. Everything turned out fine.
After seeing my new doctor a week later for my asthma, she noticed I was tugging on my ear. She asked if I was having ear problems, I told her I do it when I'm nervous. She proceeded to ask me a barrage of questions and said I may have an anxiety disorder caused from me worrying about my health. Next week I did another set of tests (blood, urine, thyroid) to make sure nothing was wrong. A few days later I got a letter in the mail. I knew it was the results and opened it in the car with my girlfriend. Even after reading "These results are excellent." My body immediately started to tingle, I still thought I had read something different. It took another few minutes of breathing exercises to calm me down.
Lately I've been doing alot of reading about anxiety, adrenaline, and medications. It helps me to understand what is going on and what my medication is doing. Well, that's my story with anxiety thus far. Thanks for listening.

I tug at my ear when nervous sometimes. Just from a little anxiety. Alankay.
