Hi all I just wondered if anyone has had similar symptoms? Recently my anxiety has become more severe but I seem to feel more sensitive to the cold weather.my neck and jaw go tight and feel tight and I feel cold and my hands and feet always feel cold? Is this all part of anxiety too? Would like to know if anyone else gets this too?

my GP once put me on citalopram but thats was the worst thing ive ever taken i had bad side affects and it took me a year to come off of them.i believe that throwing pills at it just masks the problem and they are anti depressants and i dont have depression.its such a horrible thing to cope with and when i have good days its all seems great then bang for no reason it hits me? whats the answer apart from medication?

Meds are to help with the biological part of the issue. There is a biological component for most patients anxiety. AD's also have anti-anxiety effects but they were developed as AD's so are still called AD's. If it effected you that badly I stay away or try another or even a benzo as I did. One can wind up "chasing ones tail" for a very long time before realizing one cannot tell their doc how to treat ones medical condition of anxiety. That's when I finally started getting better but no 2 patients have the exact same course. That's the way it is unfortunately. Alankay
