WAKE UP WITH INSIDE TREMBLING ABDOMEN/THIGHS

Has anyone got this problem? I wake up with inside trembles in my abdomen and sometimes upper legs (thighs). Usually if I take my blood pressure, my systolic is higher than usual. Sometimes during the day I will be doing something and I can feel the trembling coming on. I dont have any other symptons that I can say. Stress/anxiety? Some other physical problem that anyone can think of.? I am on 50mg of atenelol a day for high pulse rate and high blood pressure. Thanks[/b]

I don't have high blood pressure but I'm pretty sure this is a plain anxiety thing. Nothing to worry about. I've had a similar feeling, the inner abdomen shaking, it was really weird but it passed.

I've had it too and think it comes from the same muscular tension that causes tension headaches for people with anxiety.

It only appears when I'm letting the stress get the better of me so it must be related.
