Hello. My first time doing this. I suffer from anxiety, panic, and medical phobia. When I was 3, the doctors thought I had a hole in my heart. After many tests that didn't show any diease, I developed a fear of anything medical. I am now 55 and still can't go to the doctor without intense fear. As a result of that, my blood pressure goes up a lot. At home it is fine. The doctor gets concerned and that just makes it worse. I saw the doctor two days ago and my blood pressure was high enough that he is putting me on a new medication. This has happened before and my bp goes so low that I nearly pass out. When they check my bp, I can feel a tightness inside my body. Does anyone else suffer from this? My anxiety attacks started when I was around 15. I have been to er about 5 or 6 times in my life.
