Hello All,
I started to take Mirtazapine 8 days ago. 30mg's a day. So far side effects have included eating, eating and more eating ( that's OK I was too thin anyway) and some weird dreams. I'm also on Diazepan ( which I take spairingly) and Tamazepam ( again, which I take sparingly.)
If any of you could share some of your experiences with me on these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Just FYI I have been diagnosed with agoraphobia with panic disorder.
i) My psychiatrist has told me that Mirtazapine is a ' mild' anti-depressant. Is this true?
ii) Is it an SSRI?
iii) How long does it take the medication to fully kick in to effect. I've heard anything from 1 week to 6 weeks.
iv) How can you tell if its working or not?
