Hey guys and gals.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my post. I'm going to my doctor on Monday to get a full check up and to make sure that anxiety is what I have. I was just wondering does anyone know of cheap anxiety meds. Like generics or something. I dont have insurance so I need to save every penny I can. I just want to be informed so I can ask my doctor. Thanks for all your help.

The cheapest anxiety meds are bromazepam, diazepam and, if you can buy a supply from Argentina, lorazepam - Wyeth's brand Trapax 2.5mg are excellent and much cheaper than any other country I know of. I particularly like bromazepam because it doesn't seem to over sedate me, much like the brilliant but very expensive alprazolam; it has a longer half life too. Diazepam requires a lot of milligrams and is ROUGH in that it is very sedating, making living a 'normal' day, working and going about daily business very difficult. A 12mg bromazepam tablet is the same strength as a 2.5mg lorazepam or 25mg diazepam but causes much less of a problem than either while dealing with anxiety very well. Three or four a day is the dose I find best, it does not make me feel daytime drowsiness and again like alprazolam is very good for fending off panic attacks if you are prone to them. Some countries only prescribe up to 6mg tablets, in which case I would take two per dose. The Roche brands Lexotan, Lexotanil & Lexomil tend to be, along with Anxiocalm, around twice the price of other brands and a lot more than some generics. However for some reason I find Lexotan is worth the extra since it seems to work better with me than others. Another good cheap brand, but only up to 6mg, is Lexilium, a brand made in Macedonia which may be hard to find if you're not living in Europe.
