Lexapro

Hi there I've been taking Lexapro(20mg) for about 4-5 years now. I have recently been anxious, where as this medication has always worked wonders for me. I was wondering if some how i could be start to be immune to it now? Should I switch?

I also take 20mg of escitalopram. I think there is perhaps a pop out scenario with ssri's. NOT that they stop working but they may not work quite as well as they used to. Perhaps you're going through some changes/anxious times more so than usual and you're noticing that. Switching? Yeah I have and have known others sometimes alternate between 2 that work OK for them. Your doc is the man to help with that decision. Celexa(citalopram) might be so similar that it's not worth it(then again is is not the same). Then again you might find a change to that easy because(little "withdrawal" scenario) of their relation to each other. If you decide to try zoloft is currently the most prescribed ssri and in generic. I had good luck with prozac(fluoxetine) as well. Good luck and message me any time.
