There might be no answer, but I still give some hope, like CoQ10, Magenasium, vitamin?

Any experience appreciated.

not sure all people become tolerant!! My sister has been taking klonopin for almost 20 years at a big dose (2 g/day) and it still works for her. She never varies her dose and hasn't in 2 decades!

May I know your sister took brand or generic? I heard brand klonopin works better.

she takes generic now I believe? I know she started on brand name klonopin but went to generic when she changed insurance companies.

I heard klonopin works better than the generic too but not sure why that might be??

Taking Klonopin on an empty stomach and then eating is one way to make it more effective once you develop a tolerance for it.

My doctor also recommends that Klonopin should be taken with GABA, a nutritional supplement.

Finally, you can make Klinopin last longer by taking drugs that slow the metabolism of Klonopin. That means eating foods that slow the P450 pathway in the liver. Believe it or not, grapefruit suppresses the P450 pathway. That is why people who take certain drugs that need to be metabolized quickly are told to avoid grapefruit.

Bottom line, though, is that the easiest way to limit tolerance is to take Klonopin on an empty stomach when ou feel hungry and then eat afterwords.
