Well im new to this forum and fairly new to my anxiety issues as well. I came here because theres only so much comfort i can get from the people around me seeing as how I dont think they really understand what im going through. Their comfort feels more like pity and thats just giving me more anxiety oddly enough. I've been avoiding alot of the people in my life because of this and its causing some depression from loneliness. My hopes in coming here are simple, Im just looking for some people to talk to that understand what its like to live with anxiety and hopefully ill find some people in my area and we can all get together in person too. So hello everyone

Hi Diva. I'm new to this forum as well but so far I can tell you that it feels great to be able to communicate with others who are going through similar situations. It's nice to be able to post a question or concern and get some feedback. It's also nice to be able to comment on someone's post if you think you can help them. I think this is a great mode of therapy in it's own way.
