Xanax XR

Hey guys... I'm trying to kick these SSRIS and just use a benzo to cotrol my anxiety... If you havent read any of my last posts the reason im done with SSIRS is the simple reason that im not a depressed person by any means. I suffer mainly from anxiety and agoraphobia, whenever I try a new SSRI they seem to make me depressed and feel horrible.

I was prescribed Xanax XR and was wondering if anyone has tried this new form of xanax? I understand that its a once a day xanax for severe anxious people like myself :)

If anyone has tried this please let me know if it was successful or any other thoughts on it.

I have seen the commercial and have taken Xanax but not the Extended RElease. I have to say, if the XR works as good as Xanax, it should be great. Again, I hear withdrawal from this drug is horrible but I guess that is the nature of these drugs.
