Hello, I took Zoloft when I was about 21. I took it for about 4 months. I had to stop because as it did help my anxiety wonderfully, it also took away all my emotions for anything. I am not a highly emotional person anyways, but I could not cry if I wanted to. I was just blah. It was nice at first because to me it was better than being on edge all the time, but then I realized that having no emotion was not right either. I did not have much money after so I never tried anything new but lots and lots of exercise which actually made me feel great everyday. I do not have that luxury right now 11 yrs later, but plan on starting it up again. I was on celexa last year for about 6 months and it was wonderful for me. I quit only because I am against being on something permanently. I thought I could control it on my own. I am now looking for some natural ways along with exercise. I am sorry you have to deal with this disorder, I just joined this forum because i don't have many in my life that believe it is a real issue that affects my daily life.

I took it for about six months three and a half years ago. I experienced the blah feeling like heavinly22 did. I didn't find it to work all that well with me except for maybe the first couple months. I felt tired and irritable all the time after that.
