uncomfortable situations triger my SA and i start to cry ,but sometimes if i can't get away i start to sob violently and can't stop, which makes my anxiety worse.

am i the only one?is there anything i can do to make myself stop?

I second meditation emphatically, and maybe also incorporating a daily relaxation exercise in the morning, maybe something simple like some progressive muscle relaxation. Theres a chance it could lower your stress levels just enough that things no longer go over the edge. I also sometimes carry a pot of lavender oil, that I can smell that seems to stop any kind of major stress in it's tracks, slip away, take a few sniffs, and slowly re-compose :)
