Is this Anxiety?

So recently I have been feeling like I can't breathe, like someone is sitting on my chest. I feel like I can't get enough air in. I do have Asthma which is pretty well controled. I take .5 mg of xanax when I feel this way and it generally goes away. Does this seem like anxiety.

(fyi I was giving the xanax for panic attacks I was having)

I have experienced the same shortness of breath during anxiety / panic attacks before, and I do not have asthma.. and shortness of breath is a known symptom of anxiety.. so I'd say it's all together possible, yes.
