Hello all.

Long story short.

1. I was diagnosed with GAD/PD in 2000.
2. Went on Paxil with CBT.
3. 2001 to 2010 was perfect.
4. Summer 2010 symptoms of GAD started to return.
5. November 2010 I crashed and wound up in emerg. Sent home with benzos and told to follow up with family doctor.
6. Family doctor switched me from paxil to cipralex with some clonezapam to use during the rough spots of the switch
7. December 2010 fully off paxil and taking cipralex with benzos only.
8. Not doing to well from jan 2011 to april 2011 but used benzos to survive.
9. May 2011 was taking cipralex only and really felt horrible. Panic attacks every day and just feeling really terrible. I was sure i was going to die.
10. Went to family doctor and had the full work up. Everything was fine. I was asked to be put back on paxil. Doc said "no, you are fine. Go home and relax."
11. Mother's day 2011, couldn't take it anymore. Went to emerg and asked them to help me die in peace.
12. Was admitted to psych ward and stayed for 9 days before being discharged. Was put back on paxil by psy doctor and i have improved much on it.
13. Been off work since admission to hospital (9 weeks). Returning to work tomorrow and kinda worried about it.

That's my story. Thank you for reading.

Hey Kev!

Am also new here.. please try to concentrate and keep your faith and control intact! Willpower my friend! You can do it if you really really try harder! and how many times can you fail? once twice? ten times? fifty times? after that YOU WILL SURELY SUCCEED! So keep at it man, keep trying.. Am a loser but I keep losing everytime hoping to win atleast once

Good luck with your work
