dosage of klonopin (rivotril)

Hi everyone I'm new. I've suffered since childhood from generalised anxiety and since teen years from moderate to severe depression. Right now I take Prozac and Rivotril for anxiety. The doctor says take 0.5 mg , but that does nothing for me so i usually take around 2mg. Now that isn't even helping much and I still get really anxious all the time. Is it safe to go up to 2.5 mg of rivotril once a day? I'm afraid the doc will want to take me off it altogether. I dunno what to do.

2.5 sounds like too much. You don't want to sedate yourself. Taper your dose to .5 twice a day, is my suggestion.
