Hi Chester,

Well, Marijuana that you took 7 months ago won't still be affecting you now, I don't even think a shot of heroin could keep giving side effects 7 months down the line! If your doctor has prescribed Celaxa, then that suggests that the Dr has decided that you have some sort of depression/anxiety at the moment.

Is it possible that it is the marijuana use that has triggered your anxiety, and then your anxiety about that initial incident has kept it going? So, you picked up some weird high from the weed that you smoked, and then since then you have allowed yourself to worry about it? It seems that with anxiety, anxiety can stay even after the initial trigger (in your case the marijuana) has disappeared.

Also, have you stopped smoking marijuana?

I think Ratzinger is on the right track. Anxiety is a weird beast. It can also be like a snowball, and once it gets rolling it can be tough to stop. I had a friend who when smoked pot for the first time had to later call an ambulance because he had a total melt down. It's funny to him now, but at the time it felt all too serious. Also, I'm like you in that I'm always questioning why things work, and how crazy it is that we even exist. That's okay though, because as humans we want to understand as much as possible. It's hard, but don't worry about it, let yourself think about these things, no matter how strange you think they are.

(I always seem to agree with ImJace haha)

Anyways, what they both said was correct. ImJace was right about it being fine to ask weird questions or to have awkward and weird thoughts. It gets frustrating sometimes when you want to not think of something and then there it is again piping up in your mind. Trust me, your not alone. A lot of people are going through what your going through, so your not the only one.

Also, I know that I'm no expert but why are you taking medicine? I hate it whenever psychiatrists, counselors and/or therapists always prescribe medicine. It's as if there's no other way to get better. I'd say, stop eating the medicine and start praying. The power of God is far stronger than any medicine prescribed.

One person you may not have thought that had anxiety and depression is Anne Hathaway. What was great about her recovery was the fact that she got better without her taking medication or anything like that. She is truly an inspiration to us all.

So to end things, try praying more often and try and see why this is all happening. I'm sure God has a very good reason why all of this happening. Talk to the person who prescribed the medicine and try and see if there's another way to go about this besides medication and/or prayer.

I Hope I Helped...:)

Oh yeah, I created a blog a few hours ago and its about preventing panic attacks and stopping panic attacks just by using affirmations. I would copy and paste it here but it's too long. You can read my post here- http://howtostoppanicattacksinstantly.blogspot.com

Hope I Helped...:)

God Bless

Yeah pot made me think a but differently. Developed anxiety later in life and my pdoc said that all the pot did was likely allow the underling anxiety I had to creep high up in my mind a bit. Indeed can happen. Not so much as cause it but alter things in your mind to allow anxious/negative thoughts that otherwise might be suppressed, etc. Crude explanation.

I smoked Spice/Generic Marijuana about 7 months ago and it is how it all came about.

Hi Chester, that fake pot is some dangerous stuff. I don't know if it caused your problems but it didn't help either. My son smoked quite alot of that crap and it messed him up for a while. He went thru withdrawls when he stopped and he's back to normal now. I hope you're doing better.
