Hi,
My name's Skylar and I'm from the Philadelphia area. I am 30 years old and have been suffering from GAD (with panic attacks) for years now. I have tried countless different medications, most recently a combination of Topamax (no idea why the dr put me on this) with Buspar as well as my Ativan PRN. The daily medications do not help. The only thing that really helps take the edge off is if I take an Ativan daily, which I hate doing. I have since read up on Buspar and hear it's for mild to moderate anxiety? I am only on 10 mg twice a day. I have SEVERE anxiety to the point where it's affecting my day-to-day life.
Any other medications recommended? I heard that Effexor works well for severe anxiety? Celexa? I have not tried either of those. I have tried a laundry list of others, however, I'm leary to go on any TCAs or MAOIs.
