Has anyone tried Thorazine for anxiety

I wouldn't even go there! The side effects of antipsychotics are downright HIDEOUS. And these drugs can permanent harm. Furthermore, the older antipsychotics (like thorazine) are said to be even MORE likely to cause dangerous side effects than the newer antipsychotics (such as seroquel), which are pretty hideous drugs as it is. My recommendation? If you don't want to try nonpharmaceutical treatments, go with something safer. There are LOTS of drugs out there you can try without having to resort to antipsychotics.

Here's a good line I read about antipsychotics on wikipedia:
"From a subjective perspective, antipsychotics heavily influence one's perceptions of pleasurable sensations, causing a severe reduction in feelings of desire, motivation, pensive thought, and awe"
Sound like something you would enjoy living with?

Why does it feel like someone slipped some anti-psychotic drugs in my food or something because that's what I pretty much feel now?
