On citalopram and wondering has had the brain fog

Hey everyone,
Im currently on citalopram for my depression and anxiety. Ive had two weeks on 10mg which were fairly stable with the only side effects been twitching in my hands and legs, weird sensations in my head when I was thinking, slight confusion at times. However this week Ive started on 20mg and It's been very up and down. The worst part has been Ive been getting horrible brain fog and I cant seem to think straight. Ive also had a lot of trouble remembering things. Has anyone else found this? I also found that the anxiety came back and that I felt like I was going to go crazy at any second :(

I understand that it normally takes a reasonably long time for the side effects to go away and the medicine to settle down?

Yeah I just started on the same medication and it actually made my anxiety worse and couldnt sleep. Felt like I was going crazy. I am gonna call my doctor and see about different options. Cause this one is horrible. I heard it can take 2 to 4 weeks to actually start working but for me it is not worth it because I have to go to school and I cant be bed ridden the entire time.
