Hi all, I'm experimenting with a few natural remedies for generalized anxiety - I know it's doubtful to find the same level of relief as pharma meds eg benzos, but I'm trying to steer clear of addictive medication! On a positive note, regarding my last post (complete desperation) - I've moved on a bit, coping slightly better, sincere thanks to all who replied with help and encouragement. xxxx
I'm wondering if anyone's tried Niacinamide (B3) , and whether it's potentially habit forming. I've tried some today - it did seem to calm me down a bit, only tried one dose as I'm scared to take it before bed in case it stops me sleeping.
Any experiences (preferably positive, no scare stories please stressed enough!) on whether it builds in your system over time and whether it can help with sleep.
I'm also trying Magnesium (Natural Calm) and Kava Kava in the evening.
If anyone had experience with any of these supplements ie. time of day, dosage etc any advice would be appreciated, and any suggestions for any other helpful supplements. Many thanks.
