I feel as though I'm managing my anxiety and working towards healing; it seems to be 2 steps forward, 1 step back...just as I start to feel normal, I go to bed and something sets me off.

My greatest fear is a heart attack.

My most visible symptom is I occasionally get a vein that pops up on one side of my forehead temple area, and it stays for a few days. It seems to rotate between each temple.

Anyone else have this?
Anyone know the cause?
How I can prevent it?

I check my blood pressure often and is above normal but not high. Last night in bed it was 117/70.

Any thoughts would help,

As far as I know, this happens to a lot of people in hot weather. Also, if your heartrate picks up when you are anxious, increased bloodflow can cause your veins to show more clearly. Obviously excercise will have the same effect.

Some people just have this - if it really bugs you, you can get rid of it with laser surgery. But is it worth it?

"it seems to be 2 steps forward, 1 step back"

that's how it was for me. but dont' give up. if you stick iwth it, eventually you will hit a breakthrough. What are you doing for managing your anxiety?
