Mitral Valve Prolapse and Anxiety

I was recently diagnosed with a mild to moderate form of mitral valve prolapse. Upon searching this condition, I found that many of the symptoms I have (which I thought were strictly anxiety-related), can actually be caused by mvp, including anxiety itself. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder a little more than 15 years ago. I was just curious if anyone else has been diagnosed with mvp and anxiety. Just trying to get a little more information and reassurance as I still suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. Thank you in advance for any comments!
