Hello! Nice to meet you all. :)
I have been dealing with anxiety off & on for 4 years. Started after a series of events, beginning with the loss of my mother, then the loss of my stepfather 10 months later (note: I am the only child dealing with this completely alone), then 4 months later had 2 minor car accidents 2 days apart, which apparently gave me whiplash and caused me to faint days later by looking up too long. I THOUGHT I had been handling everything fairly well, but after the fainting spell, that was the straw that broke the camel's back and I have had anxiety ever since. I am 45.
My fear du jour is MS, since I found out I may have (not sure of the spelling...) Trigemenal Neuralgia, which can be associated with MS. (TN is facial nerve pain on one side.) I haven't been diagnosed, of course, but according to Dr. Google...(as well as a suggestion from another board) that sounds about right.
I also worry about cancer, Alzheimer's, etc. I've worried about other things in the past but they seem to rotate around, just like my symptoms do.
Looking forward to being a part of this board!
