I have been suffering from anxiety all through my life. My family life pretty much. I got pregnant about 2 years ago and since then i been having non-stop heart palpitations and in my stomach as well. I have had the testing and the monitors ecg or whatever you call it. Blood test etc and everything came back fine. I am lost and alone on what to do. So here i am saying hi.
my name is amanda

Hello. This all started with my heart when I was pregnant 7 years ago, and experienced my 1st heart palp. Well, being that my mind was still rational at the time, I didn't think anything of it. After having my baby they didn't cease and that's when I started worrying about them. I have had the full work up also...several times. This just screams anxiety, because if state of the art tests aren't enough to reassure us, it's definitely something else.
I've been in CBT for a year, and it's helping. :D

Hello mine started before pregnancy but when our daughter passed it all went crazy and came back at full steam. I wake in a panic every single day and get paranoid of heart issues

hi amanda,
I got my fist heart palpation at 28years old and continue to get them, my doc has sent me for every test there is and says they are due to anxiety as well. they seem to go away when I calm down .

Hi Amanda!
If it makes you feel any better, my mom DID have genuine heart problems for years - she had a quadruple bypass, an atherectomy, balloon surgeries, etc. She even "died" once and was brought back to life. And she did not have palpitations. So, palps are notl a "sign" of heart disease per se.
It's just anxiety/stress, hon. :)

Thanks guys for being there. What do you all think about my palpitations? Think they are serious?

I used to have palps, but I don't have them anymore - then again, I don't worry about my heart anymore!! I have other things I fixate on. :|

i wouldent think so mandi because ive had them for 8 years and they come and go as they please with my anxiety i wouldent worry about it to much and to be honest i wouldent even think about them because thinking about them brings them on
