For those who are on the edge of despair because of their anxiety, perhaps consider going on a long term Buddhist retreat in order to learn meditation, as this may help you retrain your mind while being in a low stress environment.

Some Buddhist retreats are non religious so do not indoctrinate you in their particular religious beliefs.

going into a retreat would allow you to learn to meditate on a regular basis within a less stressful environment.

Anyway, just a thought.
For those who are open to ideas.
